Hi, I’m Heather and I’m so happy you’re here!
I live, work, and play on the unceded land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Colonially known as Vancouver, BC.
I started my journey into supporting pregnant and postnatal families when I began my own pregnancy journey.
I immediately jumped into prenatal yoga teacher training in early 2018 and since then my learnings have continued to deepen.
I have been teaching yoga since 2015 and bringing prenatal yoga into my offerings profoundly changed and enhanced how I teach on an emotional and spiritual level.
In late 2018 I trained to become a full spectrum doula, specializing in supporting the emotional and physical needs of those going through pregnancy, birth, grief, and loss.
In 2021 I completed the “Wise Woman Way of Birth” Birth Doula Training and Postpartum Doula Training. These trainings have helped to deepen my understanding of the physiological, emotional and spiritual beauty within birth and postpartum.
With my experience and training in both prenatal yoga and birth, postpartum and grief doula support, I am honoured to bring this support to you. My focus as a teacher and doula is to provide an experience that leaves you feeling held, respected, and empowered.
